Wolves ended their wait for a Premier League win since April by beating fellow strugglers Southampton 2-0 on Saturday. Wolves boss Gary O'Neill was under immense pressure to perform after a 13-game winless run in the top-flight and he was vindicated when Pablo Sarabia scored the club's fastest-ever Premier League goal from Matheus Cunha's pass. Got a start.

Cunha scored a brilliant second goal early in the second period to give Wolves a vital three points, leaving Southampton in their place at the bottom of the table.

Fulham moved into the top six by causing further upset of Crystal Palace with a 2–0 win at Selhurst Park.

Emile Smith-Rowe took advantage of a mistake from Maxence Lacroix to open the scoring in first-half stoppage time.

The Eagles' fighting hopes were dealt a blow when Daichi Kamada landed a powerful attack on Kenny Tate.

Harry Wilson came off the bench to score twice in stoppage time to seal a 2-1 win over Brentford on Monday and the Welsh international was again an impressive substitute to seal the win seven minutes from time.

Yoane Wiesa scored twice as Brentford twice came from behind to beat Bournemouth 3–2.

Twice the in-form Cherries took the lead through Ivanilsson and Justin Kluivert.

But the Bees have taken 16 points out of a possible 18 at home this season.

Brentford quickly equalized on both occasions through Vissa and Mikael Damsgaard.

Vissa then responded with his seventh goal in eight league matches this season.

Brentford moved ahead of Bournemouth at the top of the table.

West Ham and Everton's 0–0 draw did little to quell the discontent among both fans.

West Ham's support were loudly booed at full time at the London Stadium, but a point moves Everton clear of the bottom three.

If City, who are struggling with injuries, lose once again, history could be created at the Amex.

In his 16 seasons as manager, Pep Guardiola has never lost four games in a row.
