The murder accused left himself outside Ratlam police station

Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking incident, a suspect of a murder allegedly set himself on fire outside the DD Nagar Police Station Complex late Friday night. According to police reports, Ajay Panwar (35) allegedly drunk, reached the station after drowning himself in petrol.

He faced severe burning injuries. Eyewitnesses said Ajay demanded legal action against some individuals and created a scene. After coming out, he set himself on fire, for everyone's shock.

Although the passers -by and police personnel immediately set fire, but not before that four officers, including the head constable, suffered minor injuries. Prior to the incident, he had already sprayed petrol on his clothes. Ajay faced 50PC Burns and was initially treated at a local medical college before being sent to a hospital in Indore.

After the incident, the Superintendent of Police ordered an inquiry into the case. Ajay Panwar had six criminal cases, including life imprisonment for the murder of auto driver Narendra Singh. They first set fire to the auto which burned into the ashes. He was released on bail for a brief period before the incident.

In particular, on 9 January, he filed a complaint against the witnesses in his murder case, claiming that he had assaulted him. The police started investigating the matter and waited for more information.

Ajay, was first noted for his dangerous behavior, visited the police station on 6 February and threatened to kill 14, drunk. Six registered cases have been reported against him as a result of disturbed pattern, including murder and attack attempts.
