Teenagers die from suicide before marriage, lover kills the wrist but survives

A 18 -year -old woman died of suicide in Malappuram district of Kerala a day before marriage. According to local reports, Shaima Ciniver was in a relationship with her 19 -year -old neighbor Sajir, but her family got a separate match and was engaged a week before the wedding. Distressed on this, the teenager hung herself on the roof of her uncle's house, where she lived after her father's death.

Local reports said that Shaima told her family that she was in a relationship with Sajer and wanted to marry her, but refused. She was upset with engagement and marriage. Shortly after death from suicide, Sajer killed his wrist. He was admitted to a medical college in Manjari and is allegedly out of danger. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and started an investigation.
