Scary moment for Bengaluru family, 5 year old child injured during road rage

Bengaluru:

It was a horrifying moment for a family in Bengaluru when two men broke the rear window of their car during a road rage incident. Their five-year-old son, who was sitting in the back seat, started bleeding and the frightened parents came out and confronted the attackers.

Two unknown people riding a bike stopped their car twice on Tuesday night and demanded the child's father Anup to lower the window. As he refused, they broke the window glass with a stone and showed a video shot from inside the car.

The injured child started crying, while Anup was heard shouting loudly, “my child was there (My child was there).” He was taken to a nearby hospital with serious head injuries.

Later visuals showed shards of broken glass and blood stains on the back seat of the car.

Anoop claimed that they were following his car and attacked him when he was just 2 kilometers away from home.

Anoop said, “My son, who was sitting in the back seat, was seriously injured and required three stitches on his head. He has been kept under observation for 24 hours due to severe bleeding.”

He said that his child is shocked by this incident.

Recalling the horror, his wife said that despite it being a busy area, the men did not hesitate to attack them. “Our baby was scared. We spent hours in the hospital. It has been mentally and physically painful,” she said.

A complaint has been lodged by the family at Parappana Agrahara Police Station.
