Pralhad Joshi claims after raid against Karnataka Minister Ji Parmeshwar

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has weighed in a huge line over the allegations of the Enforcement Directorate, who claimed Gold Smuggling accused Ranya Rao and Karnataka Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar, claiming that this state is a collapse of a factional fight within the state Congress.

“The Congress's complaint was made to the Enforcement Directorate,” the Minster claimed.

“Who is writing a letter to the Enforcement Directorate to take action?” Mr. Joshi said.

“A faction within the Congress is sending information against God and is now drama.

In Karnataka, the political line raided the educational institutions associated with the Karnataka Home Minister in the case of gold smuggling by the Enforcement Directorate.

The Central Agency, which is investigating the money laundering angle in the smuggling case, claimed that he had found that an education trust had removed the funds and paid Rs 40 lakh to the Ranya Rao's credit card bill bill, allegedly on the instructions of an influential person.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar, who met the Home Minister today, explained that the payment was a wedding gift to Ranya Rao.

“I just talked to God, a marriage (ceremony), we are in public life, we run the institutions. We know that as a gesture for the people, we give a lot of gifts, we give 1, 10 rupees, 10 lakh rupees, 5 lakh rupees. I think he must have given a gift. It was not a wedding, it was nothing wrong,” he said.

When asked about Shri Shivkumar's remarks, Shri Parmeshwar said, “You ask DK Shivkumar.” Asked if he would cooperate in the investigation, he replied, “Of course.”

The Congress has claimed that the state's opposition BJP is politicizing the smuggling case to target the ruling party.
