PBKS Full Squad, IPL 2025: Punjab Kings (PBKS) bought India's star batsman Shreyas Iyer for Rs 26.75 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. In this way Iyer became the most expensive purchase ever in the history of IPL auction. PBKS was in an intense battle with Delhi Capitals for the signature of the batsman. KKR, who had released Iyer before the auction, had also entered a bidding war to buy back the player. PBKS also bought Yuzvendra Chahal for Rs 18 crore, making him the most expensive Indian spinner to be sold in the history of IPL player auction.
