Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Work on Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal River Link Project may start soon. MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and his Rajasthan counterpart Bhajanlal Sharma held a meeting in Delhi on Thursday in the presence of Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil.

Madhya Pradesh government requested the Center to make some changes in the draft. The changes demanded by the state in the draft were implemented. Later, it was sent back to the central government. Both Sharma and Yadav discussed issues related to the project.

Apart from Parvati, other rivers were also included in the revised draft. This project will be inaugurated in a program to be held in Rajasthan. It will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Discussion on the project from Karmabhoomi to Janmabhoomi Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and his Rajasthan counterpart Bhajanlal Sharma discussed the project from Karmabhoomi to Janmabhoomi in the presence of Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil.

According to the project, people who are from other states and doing business in Gujarat are establishing bores in their native states through their own resources. One such work is going on in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh.

The target is to install 15 thousand bores in the state. To execute the work, collectors of all the districts have been made nodal officers. Patil advised the Chief Ministers to remove obstacles in the way. Under the project, work will be done in MP, Rajasthan and Bihar.
