Indore (Madhya Pradesh): While traffic is already operational from one side of the Khajrana flyover, the remaining work on the other side will also be completed in the next 10 days and it is expected that the second part of the flyover will also be operational in the same month. Officials said that currently a layer of asphalt is being laid and after December 20, traffic will be started on this arm also.
IDA has constructed flyovers at four major intersections. Officials said that two of these flyovers, Bhavarkua and Footi Kothi, have been opened, while traffic is moving only on one side of Lavkush and Khajrana and the remaining parts of both the flyovers will also be opened this month.
Currently, opening of one hand at Lavkush intersection has made a lot of difference in the traffic and the situation is the same at Khajrana intersection too. IDA officials said that now the traffic between Bengali intersection and Robot intersection has become easier with one hand. The authority will also complete the work of the second branch in the next 10 days.
The authority is also conducting a feasibility survey for the flyovers to be built at major intersections of AB Road and in the last board meeting it was decided to conduct a survey for the two routes of the cable car also.
