Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A Nepalese domestic help, hired 12 days ago, along with her colleague looted cash, jewelery and valuables worth Rs 1.5 crore from the house of her employer after feeding him food laced with drugs.
The accused fled in the businessman's SUV to escape the security of the residential society and abandoned it near Teen Imli intersection, which was recovered by the police. The incident took place in Silver Spring Phase 1 of Tejaji Nagar police station area on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday. The victim was taken to hospital, regaining consciousness the next evening.
Police have registered the case and started searching for the accused. The owner of the house, Anish Mohammed, a real estate businessman, said he was living alone in the city with his Persian dog as his wife lives in Mhow and son studies in Dehradun. He hired Dipesh, a Nepali domestic servant, on December 1 through his friend's agency, which also provided security for his business.
On Thursday, the victim came home in the evening and asked his staff to cook food. After having dinner he felt restless and went to sleep. The next day, his female staff came to the house as he was not picking up the phone and ransacked the house and found the businessman unconscious. Around Rs 19 lakh in cash, jewelery and at least 20 expensive watches and other valuables worth Rs 1.5 crore were found missing.

To erase the traces, the accused threw the DVRs of the CCTV cameras in a bucket filled with water. However, since the cameras were connected to Wi-Fi, the entire incident was captured on the cameras installed in the house. Deepesh was seen allowing his associate to enter the house at around 1 am and they left around 4 am. The accused also had a party at home, drank alcohol and smoked cigarettes during the robbery.
The accused informed his sister about leaving the job
Aneesh said that the same night, the accused called his sister in Delhi and told her that he was quitting his job. He called the victim's friend and told him about this. The next morning he was called by his friend and his female employee, who were the first to witness the incident.
