Tilak Verma's brilliant maiden T20 century set the stage for India's narrow 11-run win over South Africa in the third match at Centurion on Wednesday. India is now leading 2-1 in the four-match series. Abhishek (50, 25b, 3×4, 5×6) and Tilak (107 not out, 56b, 8×4, 7×6) took India to a huge score of 219 runs for six wickets. Tilak completed his first century in T-20 in just 51 balls. Despite strong efforts from Heinrich Klaasen (41, 22b, 1×4, 4×6) and Marco Jansen (54, 17b, 4×4, 5×6), South Africa could not really chase down the target. SA were restricted to 208 for seven.
