An extraordinary wildlife photography exhibition will be organized in Mumbai, showcasing a rare glimpse of India's natural treasures, captured during my ambitious journey across all 55 tiger reserves in the country. ATR (All Tiger Reserve) Through the Lens will be displayed at Jahangir Art Gallery from 11 to 15 December.

The ATR Through the Lens project is the result of a six-and-a-half-month expedition covering a distance of over 37,000 kilometers by Arzoo Khurana, a wildlife photographer and lawyer. The exhibition showcases breathtaking moments of India's biodiversity, including majestic tigers, serene landscapes and other wildlife species, shot through a lens that celebrates conservation and storytelling. It aims to highlight the urgent need for environmental protection while inspiring people to connect with nature.

The exhibition's launch at Delhi's Bikaner House in September was highly appreciated and was attended by eminent personalities such as Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupendra Yadav and Justice BR Gavai, judge of the Supreme Court of India. National Green Tribunal (NGT) Chairman Justice Prakash Srivastava along with former Chief Justice of India TS Thakur and SA Bobde also attended the event. The exhibition was also attended by Bollywood actor Adil Hussain and top forest officials from across the country.

“Taking this exhibition to Mumbai allows us to bring this conservation story to one of India’s most vibrant cities, where art and activism often intersect. The exhibition will include carefully crafted images that illustrate the diversity and challenges of wildlife conservation across the country,” Khurana said.

Through this visual journey, the photographer aims to inspire collective responsibility for conservation, engage audiences with the stories of India's rich and diverse ecosystems, and promote discussion about the importance of preserving our natural heritage.
