In Bengaluru yesterday, a man killed his 14-year-old son by beating him with a cricket bat and banging his head on a wall following an argument over his mobile addiction and lack of interest in studies, sending the entire city into mourning. The matter came to light when the police received information about the suspicious death of a school student in Kumaraswamy Layout area. When they reached his house, a shocking scene awaited them. Autopsy revealed father's cruelty

According to the post-mortem report, the boy had severe internal injuries on his head and multiple wounds on his body, suggesting that he was brutally attacked before he died.

Police investigation revealed that Kumar, a carpenter by profession, was extremely angry with his son – a Class 9 student – ​​due to his disinterest in studies.

On the day of the crime, a minor argument over getting a mobile phone repaired left Kumar cornered. He grabbed the cricket bat and beat Tejas with it.

But it was still not complete. He threw his son against the wall and said, “I don't care whether you live or die.”

The boy fell on the ground and kept groaning in pain. His condition kept deteriorating from 8 am to 2 pm. But according to investigation, he was taken to the hospital only after he stopped breathing. On reaching there the doctors declared him dead.

He said, “There used to be heated arguments between the child and his parents. They were not happy with his performance in studies and excessive use of mobile phone. They claimed that he was also in bad company. And this was the reason for the murder of the boy. Caused.” Lokesh B, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).

The man tried to hide the murder by cleaning the blood stains from the body and started preparing for the last rites. He also hid the bat.
