According to the information, the incident took place on Thursday evening in Phulpur village of Maharajpur police station area of ​​Gwalior. In her statement to the police, the woman has accused her in-laws of torturing her and setting her on fire.

Senior police officers took charge of the case

According to the police, the victim has been identified as Aarti Gurjar. In a seriously burnt condition, his family members admitted him to a private hospital near Gola Ka Mandir late at night. She suffered almost 90% burns. The hospital administration immediately informed the local police station. Senior police officers have taken charge of the case and started investigation.

Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh, ASP Krishna Lalchandani, CSP Nagendra Singh and forensic expert Akhilesh Bhargava visited the incident site and investigated.

During interrogation, Aarti accused her mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and other relatives of torturing her and pouring diesel on her before setting her on fire.

The victim has been married for nine years and has accused her in-laws of harassment since the beginning. She is the mother of two children aged 9 and 6.
