Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Lyricist Manoj Muntashir on Monday offered prayers at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh and sought blessings of Baba Mahakal (Lord Shiva).

Lyricist Manoj Muntashir seen in Nandi Hall
He was seen sitting in Nandi Hall and appeared engrossed in devotion to Baba Mahakal. After worshiping Baba Mahakal, he was seen bowing towards Nandi and whispered a wish in Nandi's ear. According to religious beliefs, Nandi is the vehicle of Lord Shiva and a symbol of devotion and whoever speaks his wish or prayer in Nandi's ear, it is fulfilled.
Lyricist Manoj Muntashir told local media that he often visits Mahakal temple to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. He further said that he came to the temple 25 years ago when he was struggling in his career and personal life and Baba Mahakal took away all his troubles and since then, visiting the temple has become a ritual for him.
He came to Ujjain on Sunday for the International Geeta Mahotsav.
Notably, he is known for songs like 'Teri Mitti', 'Galiyan', 'Tere Sang Yaara', 'Kaun Tujhe', 'Dil Meri Na Sune', 'Kaise Hua' and 'Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga'.
