He said that the state government is working towards increasing homestays. The Chief Minister said that homestays, along with strengthening the rural economy, also introduce the tourists coming to Uttarakhand from India and abroad to the rich culture of the state. He said that a large number of homestays are being operated in the state, which is providing employment to thousands of local people. CM Dhami said that Sari village is an ideal village where there are more than 40 homestays. He said that the state government is increasing homestays.
