Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey announced his retirement from acting early Monday. The 12th Fail actor thanked his fans for their support and said he now wants to “go home” to being a husband, father and son. Vikrant also shared that his two films releasing in 2025 will be his last films.

Vikrant announced his decision to step back from showbiz on his Instagram. “The past few years and the years since have been phenomenal. I thank you all for your incredible support. But as I move forward, I realize it is time for me to get back to work.” And go back home. As a husband, a father and an actor too,” he wrote.

“So come 2025, we will meet each other for the last time. Until the time feels right. The last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you once again. For everything and everything in between. Forever Indebted,” he concluded.

Vikrant Massey's net worth

According to reports, Vikrant's net worth is between Rs 20 crore to Rs 26 crore. The actor reportedly charges Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 crore per project. Most of his income comes from films and web shows as well as brand endorsements and social media handles.

In 2020, Vikrant bought a luxurious sea-facing home in Mumbai, where he currently lives with his wife Sheetal Thakur and newborn son Vardaan. “I have the ocean right in front of me. It's a 180-degree ocean view where I see nature's art every day,” he had earlier said in an interview with Hindustan Times.

Vikrant also owns several luxury cars, which include a Mercedes Benz GLS worth Rs 1.16 crore, a Volvo S90 worth Rs 60 lakh and a Maruti Swift Dezire. Not only this, he also has a Ducati Monster motorcycle worth Rs 12 lakh.

On the work front, Vikrant will next be seen in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan, also starring Shanaya Kapoor.

If reports are to be believed, Vikrant will also play the role of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in his biopic, which is scheduled to release in 2025. However, it has not been officially announced.
