Tamil actor-politician Vijay has rejected talk of an alliance between his fledgling Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam ahead of the 2026 assembly elections.

In a detailed post on Monday, Vijay's party flagged a report by a leading Tamil daily and said rumors of a pact with the AIADMK were “completely false (and) without evidence”.
