'If you can arrest me, you can arrest me' – Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader KT Rama Rao challenged Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday afternoon after he was named in a police case related to the violence in Vikarabad district this week. Had gone. “Arrest me! I will go to jail with my head held high for standing with the farmers of Telangana,” Mr Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR, posted on Twitter.
He was reacting to rumors that he may be arrested soon. BRS's Patnam Reddy – 'accused number 1' – was arrested on Wednesday, police said, and he reportedly said that KTR had ordered the attack.
“First of all, this is a false and fabricated case… I want to say to Revanth Reddy, 'If you are so interested in arresting me, please do so.' But 21 poor farmers are in jail (after being arrested). The villagers who attacked a team of officials should be released,' KT Rama Rao or KTR told news agency ANI.
KTR declared, “The Revanth Reddy government has failed miserably… Everyone can see how there is a kind of 'emergency'. I want to tell Revanth to stop grabbing farmers' lands…”

KTR on Wednesday also criticized Revanth Reddy and accused the chief minister of grabbing land from poor farmers to benefit the pharmaceutical company owned by his son-in-law.
Responding to rumors of his arrest, Rama Rao attacked the conspiracy allegations against the Chief Minister and his aide, posting on Instagram, “To a man caught with a bribe of Rs 50 lakh (to Mr Reddy in 2015) In the matter of giving cash, everything will seem to be a conspiracy. The farmers' protest against your son-in-law's pharma company will be a conspiracy!
Revanth Reddy!
The man caught with a bribe of Rs 50 lakh will find everything to be a conspiracy!
Farmers' protest against your son-in-law's pharma company will be a conspiracy!
The farmers not bowing down to your brother's threats is a conspiracy!
Two people are talking…

BRS workers gathered at KTR's Hyderabad home last night as news of his impending arrest spread.
Meanwhile, the Telangana government has rejected KTR's allegations. Sridhar Babu, the IT minister, told NewBharat TV that the Reddy administration took the attack seriously, adding that it was planned by “political elements”. “There is a conspiracy to stop development in Telangana,” he declared.
Villagers protesting against the acquisition of 1,358 acres of land for a pharma project attacked a team of officials on Monday, following which more than 50 people were detained. Villagers say that the compensation is less than the market price. The incident took place in the Chief Minister's Kodangal constituency.

Four senior officers, including a policeman, were injured in the attack by a mob of 100 people.
Senior police officer V Satyanarayan told NewBharat TV that the attack was planned, with District Collector Prateek Jain and a group of revenue department officials called to ground zero.
Mr Jain and officials were to organize a public meeting so that farmers could express their concerns at one location, but a man named Suresh (an aide of the arrested BRS MLA) convinced them to move to another location. As soon as the officers reached the second location they were attacked.
