20 teachers opened fire in Kushinagar after Allahabad HC order to use fake documents in 69,000 teacher recruitment drives

Lucknow: In Kushinagar, the Basic Education Officer (BEO) has abolished 20 teachers following the Allahabad High Court orders. These teachers were protected by using fake documents in 69,000 teacher recruitment drives.

Investigation revealed that these teachers, in part of the BTC-2015 batch, manipulated their mark sheet to create a fake qualification list and to create safe employment despite not completing the required educational qualification at the time of recruitment.

The termination follows an intensive investigation inspired by a letter from Surendra Tiwari, secretary of the Basic Education Council, dated to 9 May 2025. The BEO identified 20 teachers involved and immediately abolished their services.

This action is expected to result in other teachers appointed under the same recruitment campaign with possible investigations in other districts. The Secretary emphasized the importance of verifying merit list and educational documents, warning that any discrepancies would take serious legal action.
